The Role:
The Technical Marketing and Media Lead will oversee the integration and optimization of advanced advertising technologies across our marketing channels. This role demands close collaboration with technical and business teams to drive projects from conception to full operational status. You will manage the entire lifecycle of advertising technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and seamless implementation.
Situated within the digital & integrated marketing team, this role collaborates closely with agencies, product marketing, and brand marketing to create and refine marketing campaigns and initiatives on a global scale.
The position will be remote, based out of the US; and will be supported by the Director, Integrated Marketing.
Essential Functions:
Program Management and Oversight (40%):
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of end-to-end performance marketing programs, focusing on the integration of new technologies and platforms.
- Act as the primary program manager, overseeing projects from inception through to successful deployment and operational stages
Technical Strategy Development (30%):
- Create and maintain a technical strategy for advanced advertising technologies that is aligned between marketing, applied science, and product teams.
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration across all teams involved, facilitating regular updates and adjustment of project scopes as necessary.
Delivery Management (20%):
- Collect and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders within marketing and applied science for new advertising technologies.
- Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within expected cost parameters.
Industry Knowledge and Communications (10%):
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements that could impact or enhance our advertising capabilities, sharing with relevant parties and using to design strategic responses.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent education and professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, in a technical role.
- Proven expertise in collecting, analyzing, and detailing business requirements and transforming them into actionable project plans.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency in digital advertising platforms and relevant software tools. Strong understanding of front-end development is preferred.
- Fluency in English required, with knowledge of additional languages considered beneficial.
- Proficiency in standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to ask questions and demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills.
