The Role:

The Paid Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving growth through strategic and data-driven paid media campaigns. This role is focused on the back-end operations, ensuring that paid media initiatives are meticulously planned, executed, and optimized. The Specialist will leverage advanced analytics and industry best practices to enhance campaign performance, contributing significantly to the company’s marketing success.

Situated within the digital & integrated marketing team, this role collaborates closely with agencies, product marketing, and brand marketing to create and refine marketing campaigns and initiatives on a global scale.

The position will be remote; based out of the US; and will be supported by the Paid Media Lead.

Essential Functions:

Campaign Development and Execution (40%):

  • Design, implement, and optimize cutting-edge digital campaigns, focusing on back-end processes from conception to launch.
  • Develop media buying strategies for various ad platforms, overseeing the day-to-day execution and optimization of paid media campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure the best value and performance from paid media investments

Strategic Alignment (20%):

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign strategies and goals are aligned with the organization’s objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword and website research, ad grouping, and audience targeting to refine campaign strategies.

Performance Management and Reporting (40%):

  • Utilize advanced analytics to provide actionable insights into campaign performance, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Define, measure, and evaluate key paid media performance indicators to assess and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive continuous improvement in paid media strategies

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent education and professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or paid media, with a focus on back-end operations and performance marketing.
  • Proficiency in digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and programmatic platforms.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong experience in vendor engagement and management, with excellent decision-making and communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, and presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and process skills, with flexibility in a changing environment, coupled with outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English required, with knowledge of additional languages considered beneficial.
  • Proficiency in standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to ask questions and demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills.
