TDRC are excited to be once again working with a celebrated Financial Services business who are helping their 800+ clients to confidently navigate regulation in a way that will keep their vision and objectives intact.
They have been supporting their clients for 20 years with their compliance obligations. Supporting their commercial success, whilst actively working with them to build compliance into what they do on a day-to-day basis.
Their clients include wholesale investment firms (including hedge funds, private market firms, corporate finance and brokers), capital markets (including asset managers and broker/dealers), wealth management, payment services and crypto assets, consumer credit and insurance and lending.
Scope of the Role:
As the Marketing Director you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy of our private equity-backed compliance professional services and technology company. With ambitious plans to accelerate turnover and expand into multiple international jurisdictions, you’ll lead a dynamic marketing function, develop the company's brand, and drive business expansion through both organic and non-organic growth initiatives.
This role is for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, who can take the reins and build, develop and manage an internal team partner to drive market leading brand visibility and growth. There is significant opportunity for progression into a into a Chief Marketing Officer role.
Role Purpose:
To lead the marketing function and create and implement a forward-thinking marketing strategy that accelerates growth, strengthens the company’s competitive position and supports the company’s ambitious expansion goals. The role encompasses strategic leadership, hands-on campaign execution, team development and cross-functional collaboration to drive new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and own the company’s marketing strategy in collaboration with senior stakeholders that aligns with business objectives
Partner with sales and operational teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy
- Lead market analysis to identify growth opportunities and optimise the marketing approach
- Lead branding, content, demand generation and digital marketing initiatives
- Lead brand development and messaging to differentiate the company in a competitive market
- Strengthen the company's brand presence across various channels, including digital, events, and media
- Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns to support sales objectives
- Implement a data-driven approach to measure and improve marketing performance
- Identify market trends and client insights to inform strategy
- Lead and develop a small high-performing marketing team
- Maintain an external perspective on market trends and competitor activities
- Partner with the People function to create and execute a compelling employer brand that aligns with the company’s strategic goals
- Act as the lead contact with an appointed PR Agency, to identify and media train key spokespersons within the company, initiate, co-ordinate and sign off on company press releases
- Ultimate responsibility for sign off on design and layout of the website, as well as all copy, oversee updates and edits
- Ultimate responsibility for creating and signing off social media strategy and ensuring greater company exposure and engagement
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within a PE-backed or high-growth company
- Marketing/Business degree
- A track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and driving brand growth
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and lead generation technique
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at the C-suite level
- Experience in team development and leadership
- Passion for staying ahead of marketing trends and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
