The Role:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting a growing portfolio of products in the investment education space. The Marketing Manager will identify audiences and segments, gather market requirements, and align product strategies to customers in market, supporting product owners and marketing objectives. This hands-on role will manage product positioning, create messaging and marketing content, develop launch strategies, monitor campaigns and optimize to meet revenue, growth and/or ROI goals.
Essential Functions:
- Gather, document, and update market requirements
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver well-received products that meet business objectives
- Support comprehensive go-to-market strategy and planning including positioning, communication of value proposition and launch strategy
- Develop impactful messaging and communications through research and qualitative feedback
- Develop market segmentation, customer personas, and key product messaging using customer research
- Develop documentation of core product messaging, value proposition, roadmaps and goals to ensure marketing teams and supporting agencies design and execute relevant digital and event-based campaigns and programs
- Maintain product marketing roadmaps
- Manage marketing assets, including digital content
- Continuously experiment and iterate to increase product adoption and understand voice of the customer
- Support business case development for product enhancements with insights on segmentation and targeting and product positioning
- Leverage market analysis, customer insights, and product marketing expertise to influence product decisions and represent the voice of the customer internally
- Provide training assets to customer-facing side of the organization to ensure proper utilization of materials and messaging consistency

Education/Experience:
- At least 8 years of experience in marketing, preferably product marketing
- Investment or sustainability industry experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Product Management or Marketing certification preferred (e.g. Pragmatic Institute, Product Focus, etc.)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with Sitecore, Salesforce, and Adobe Analytics a plus
- Experience in market research, analysis, and strategy development
- Strong project management skills
- Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages would be useful.
- Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation
