Position Overview:
To support and develop their product locally and globally, they are seeking for an experienced Product and Project Manager who understands the technical side as well as marketing and product development. ≥C1 German and English are necessary. You will lead and support initiatives aimed at enhancing the seller and buyer experience. You research and analyse the customer journey, you oversee projects, and you manage partnerships, You support, ensure and expand seamless integration and support with eBay and third-party providers (3PP).
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and drive progress on critical projects addressing escalated issues from European teams.
- You gather requirements, drive automation, suggest seller portal enhancements, website and information optimization, and overall improvements in the seller/buyer journey.
- Collaborate closely with OC HQ and international teams to align on goals and deliver results.
- Provide issue resolution support to our customers by investigating and troubleshooting system challenges. You facilitate technical and product expertise to the Customer Service and Business Development teams.
- You help create seller manuals and educational videos to support seller onboarding and customer success
- Support CS in customer-centric development initiatives and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Partner with the Business Development (BD) and Key Account Management (KAM) teams to optimize and streamline seller onboarding processes.
Market Research and Marketing:
- Assist in the prioritization and strategic planning of brand awareness and company representation at high-potential events, trade fairs, and within professional networks. Conduct competitor analysis and support strategic decision-making when it comes to the company’s market position in alignment with eBay standards.
- Provide product development insights based on local e-commerce market trends and align internal systems with market requirements.
- Create compelling and informative product marketing content and plans.
- Ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies to maximize brand visibility and impact within the local market.
Qualifications (must haves):
- Degree and/or experience in IT, Digital Business, or a related field. Experience
- in e-commerce, logistics and preferably product marketing and development.
- Proficiency in web services, SQL, API, BI and log analysis, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German (C1) and English.
